About Dr. Maxell S. Adu-Lartey

Dr. Adu-Lartey grew up in Ghana as well as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Adu-Lartey obtained his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school, Dr. Adu-Lartey was involved in extensive geriatric research at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University where he was awarded a National Medical Fellow in Academic Medicine award.  Dr. Adu-Lartey utilizes non-surgical and surgical techniques in treating conditions of the spine.

Dr. Adu-Lartey also utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques including:

 

  • Microdisectomy

  • Laminectomy and decompression surgery

  • Percutaneous instrumentation of the spine

  • Minimal Invasive spinal fusion techniques

  • Kyphoplasty

Dr. Adu-Lartey completed his fellowship training in advanced spinal reconstruction at Florida Orthopedic Institute, Center for Spinal Disorders in Tampa, Florida with special emphasis on minimally invasive spine surgery.
